Changelog. What’s new in magpie, newest first.

  1. Updates you can see

    • When magpie is updated, a note in the bottom left says so: Restart to get the new version, then see what's new.
    • Every update is listed on the new changelog page.
  2. Bookmarks keep their dates

    • The Mac app's Import Bookmarks sends when you bookmarked each link (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox and the like), so they sit at their real dates.
    • Bookmarks that don't say when (Safari's, a list of links) go under the rest of your library instead of on top.
    • Mac app 1.0.1. It updates itself.
  3. magpie for Mac

    • Download the Mac app from getmagpie.me/download/mac: your library in its own window, in the menu bar and from the share menu.
    • Import bookmarks from Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge and Firefox in one go.
    • When magpie can't be reached, the app shows your library as it last was.
  4. Pick several saves at once

    • ⌘-click (Ctrl-click) or Shift-click to pick several saves.
    • Add them to a project, take them out, copy their links, tag them again or delete them, with Undo.
  5. Better matches for projects

    • magpie files a save into a project only when it's sure, and at most 30 of its picks a project.
    • magpie's picks are marked, and you can show them or only yours.
    • The canvas has a one-row header, goes full screen and puts your saves first.
  6. Plans and shared projects

    • Plus and Pro plans, monthly or yearly, in Settings › Plan.
    • On Pro, invite people to a project: editors add saves and get Find more, viewers see the board.
  7. New settings

    • Settings has its sections down the side, one page each, with switches for what's on and off.
